Board Purpose
The Board of Directors is one of BWW’s most valuable resources with governing board members demonstrating passionate interest for the well-being of Black women and girls.
The Board’s purpose is to ensure the future advancement and stability of BWW as a community institution and a corporate entity. By setting strategic direction, ensuring adequate financial resources are secured, protecting assets and providing proper financial oversight, ensuring legal and ethical integrity, monitoring and strengthening programs and services and, building Board capacity and excellence.
