SKYLYNN HAYES

Maternal and Infant Health Program Coordinator

Skylynn Hayes serves as the Maternal and Infant Health Program Coordinator at Black Women for Wellness, where she leads initiatives advancing Black maternal health equity, mental wellness, and community-centered care across Los Angeles. Her work spans prenatal, antenatal, and postpartum support, focusing on healing-centered education, breastfeeding awareness, and culturally rooted approaches to family health.

With a background in womb care, program design, and community advocacy, Skylynn is deeply committed to creating spaces that nurture the mind, body, and spirit of Black mothers and families. She integrates wellness, empowerment, and policy into her programs; ensuring that every initiative uplifts Black women’s voices, strengthens community systems, and reclaims traditional and holistic forms of maternal care.

Passionate about all things Black maternal and infant health, she continues to build bridges between community-based organizations, local leaders, and families to improve outcomes for Black birthing people and the generations that follow.
