On this page, you will find their new tool for finding food near you with just a few clicks by using 211 LA Food Finder, an online mapping tool that allows you to easily find food resources from 211 LA’s database. Los Angeles Regional Food Bank (323) 234-3030 The LA Regional Food Bank aims to mobilize resources to fight hunger in our community; source and acquire nutritious food and other products and distribute them to people experiencing nutrition insecurity through partner agency network and directly through programs; energize the community to get involved and support hunger relief; and conduct hunger and nutrition education and awareness campaigns and advocate for public policies that benefit the people we serve. Summer Meal Services The California Department of Education provides parents with a list of locations where children may receive free, nutritious meals during school vacation and off periods. Link
WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) If you are pregnant or have a child under 5, WIC can help provide nutritious foods and more resources to keep your growing family healthy. You may be eligible for WIC if you are pregnant, are breastfeeding a baby under the age of one, had a baby within the last six months, have a child under the age of five, or experienced a pregnancy loss/termination.
