The State of the People POWER Tour is a national campaign to meet Black communities where they are with truth, care, and power. We’re traveling city to city to combat disinformation, provide real resources, and make sure our people are not just seen but heard and mobilized.
It’s not just about politics. It’s about our right to live well and thrive fully — no matter your zip code, background, or beliefs.
This two-day experience is more than an event—it’s a movement for healing, truth-telling, and transformation.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Dynamic plenaries and panels featuring community organizers, cultural leaders, and national voices like Joy Reid, Angela Rye, Tamika Mallory, and more.
- Mutual aid & resource zones with housing support, legal aid, wellness services, and healing spaces.
- Interactive workshops designed to give you the tools to organize, advocate, and lead.
- A community-led Field Hearing to speak truth to power and surface real solutions.
- Arts and cultural experiences that celebrate radical Black joy through music, performance, food, and creative expression.
