We know that beauty is not a fixed standard, but rather a lifelong journey shaped by our experiences, our health, and our evolving relationship with ourselves. Don’t miss a powerful, intergenerational conversation about how our beauty care needs shift across every stage of life.
We will explore the unique experiences of youth, young adulthood, pregnancy, midlife, and our golden years. Through presentations and community dialogue, we will uplift holistic approaches to beauty that honor both how we look, and how we feel.
Grounded in our commitment to health education and advocacy, we will also examine recent Consumer Reports findings on safety and the harmful toxins found in hair used in extensions, braids, and wigs. This conversation is part of our ongoing work to ensure Black women and girls have access to safe clean beauty products.
We will close by lifting up our upcoming Black Maternal Health Week activities, celebrating Black motherhood, reproductive justice, and collective care. Come as you are. Bring your stories, your questions, and your wisdom.
