Join Black Women For Wellness for our 2nd pre-conference series entitled Invisible Mothers.
This conversation will be held virtually.
This pre-conference workshop centers on the often overlooked plight of Black pregnant women in prison, a group referred to as “invisible mothers”. We aim to shed light on the systemic inequalities they face and explore strategies to improve their birth outcomes.
In our dialogue, we will address the complex intersection of race, gender, incarceration, and maternal health, creating a platform for advocacy and reform.
