Please join Sisters@Eight on March 13th for a breakfast discussion regarding food politics, food policies, food insecurity and the need for sustainable home and community gardens.
Our conversations will focus on how cultivating eco-friendly plant and herb gardens can enhance food security, promote health, and foster community.
Our speakers are:
- Marie-Alise de Marco, a food justice and community advocate,
- Steven Meeks from the Good Earth Community Garden,
- Azita Jolaei, an ecologist and manager from the Community Garden at the Holy Nativity
