In celebration of Black Maternal Health Week, join us for the grand opening of Flourishing Families, Inc.

We’re thrilled to unveil Flourishing Families, Inc., The Birthing Tree Community Lactation Room, and the Birth Equity Mural at Huddle Co-Work Space.

Come and learn about birthing practices, lactation professionals, doula services, community health workers (CHWS), and more!

Mission of Flourishing Families, Inc.

Flourishing Families, Inc., located in Stockton, California, delivers a range of services designed to support family welfare and individual growth. They are dedicated to equipping families with essential skills and resources to thrive.

The services provided by Flourishing Families includes:

  • Shelter Services: They offer around-the-clock shelter access, supplying food and clothing to individuals and families facing homelessness.
  • Career Development: The organization provides educational classes aimed at enhancing job-seeking skills and boosting employability.
  • Financial Advising: It offers guidance on achieving financial stability, including advice on homeownership and managing debt.
  • Counseling Services: Counseling support is available for both individuals and families dealing with various challenges.
  • Childcare Solutions: Flourishing Families, Inc. extends affordable daycare services to its employees, volunteers, and needy families.
  • Substance Use Treatment: Specialized treatment for substance use is available for pregnant women or those with children under 18. This includes personal, group, and family counseling, case management, peer support, and medication-assisted treatment options.

About Reinvent South Stockton Coalition (RSSC)

RSSC is a community advocacy group focused on empowering residents and improving the quality of life in South Stockton, California.

The coalition works on various initiatives, including education, housing, safety, health, and economic development, to address systemic challenges and promote positive change in the community.
