FA-MLI, Inc. (Foundation for Arts, Mentoring, Leadership & Innovation), in collaboration with Black Women for Wellness, will host the 1st Annual Ida B. Wells Breakfast on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at the Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center in the heart of Leimert Park’s BLACK ARTS Village.
Sponsored by the I Choose Life Foundation, this powerful event, themed “Liberation, Into the Next Millennium,” honors the enduring legacy of investigative journalist, educator, and civil rights icon Ida B. Wells, while spotlighting the voices and leadership of Black women and allies continuing the fight for justice and freedom today.
