Tyra Gravesande is a public health scholar and PhD candidate in Global Health at Meharry Medical College, specializing in maternal health, health equity, and the effects of racism in medicine.

A Spelman College alumna with over ten research publications, she brings expertise in both academia and social impact investment. Her background encompasses board governance, venture capital, and grant funding, with a focus on advancing equity for Black founders and communities.
