Sharonnie is a proud Los Angeles native with a lifelong commitment to empowering youth. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Northridge, where she developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by underserved and at-risk communities.

Passionate about driving meaningful change, Sharonnie has built a career in the nonprofit sector, focusing on addressing the socio-economic and political disparities impacting the Black community. She is dedicated to equipping young people with the knowledge, resources, and confidence to amplify their voices and become agents of positive change in society.

Currently, Sharonnie is honored to continue her impactful work through the ROP program, where she remains steadfast in advancing the organization’s mission to uplift and empower Black women and girls.

Outside of her work at BWW, Sharonnie is a licensed esthetician with a passion for skincare. She also loves exploring new culinary experiences as a self-proclaimed foodie and cherishes quality time with her loved ones.
