Melinda R. Charles has over 30+ years connecting individuals to medical resources/referrals, employment, educational, and business opportunities, as well as helping individuals realize their truth worth while helping them transition into self-sufficiency.

Her experiences varied from Waukegan Health Department, City of Atlanta Workforce Development Agency, Goodwill Industries of Metropolitan Chicago, California State University-L.A., and the State of North Carolina. She has special skills in recruiting, retention, communication, and what it takes to advocate on the agency-customers’ behalf.

Her favorite achievement was partnering with the Chicago Transit Authority (2nd Largest Transportation Company in the U.S.A.) putting ex-offenders back to work, not an easy task when trying to get them to change their mind-frame in order to be successful.

Previously, she coordinated the State of North Carolina Senior Community Employment Program with a budget over 2.5 Million, responsible for 5 Sub-contractors and 24 Counties putting Seniors 55 and older back to work while adhering to the Federal Regulations for the United States Department of Labor.

Melinda has also worked as a Director for Catholic Charities in Durham, NC.
