KIMBERLY ROBINSON
COMMUNITY LIAISON, NORTHERN CALIFORNIA OFFICE
Kimberly is a community leader, changemaker, and speaker focusing on local policy and advocacy to elevate health equity. She served for years working in the primary care setting and overseeing the medical operations and behavioral health services for low-income communities and individuals experiencing houselessness. Kimberly collaborates with local and state organizations to provide resources to communities in need. For over 14 years Kimberly was instrumental in the development and operations of reproductive health services provided in Northern California.
Kimberly is an activist for women’s health who works closely with colleagues, communities, and allies to build constituencies that demand reproductive justice for all. She is a Dr. Beatriz María Solís Policy Institute (SPI) fellowship graduate for activists and advocates. She recently completed the Women of Color Leadstrong program of Leaderspring Center that support leaders working for social justice and racial equity in the social sector.
Kimberly is often called to speak and present on a number of critical health equity topics. These include reproductive rights and justice, health equity disparities of black women, process of policy development into law, diabetes prevention through lifestyle coaching,
Kimberly is on the board of directors for Grace and Mercy Charitable Foundation and The Advisory Board for TEACH. She’s also on the California Central Valley Pregnancy Associated Mortality review committee as well as the Perinatal Equity Advisory Council through CMQCC. While Studying Social Science at California State University, Chico, She was a Charter Member of the Nu Omega Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
