DESARAE JONES
Governing Board Member
Desarae Jones is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience at LA Metro, where she leads the Customer Experience Department, managing community-centered initiatives and budgets of up to $200 million.
She created Metro’s acclaimed “Green Shirt” program and pioneered efforts to connect unhoused riders to permanent housing. A longtime board member of Union Station Homeless Services, she brings extensive experience in governance, fundraising, and strategic planning.
Rooted in Inglewood, Desarae combines public leadership, community advocacy, and innovative vision to advance equity and make a lasting impact.
