ANTHNETTE DRONE
Program Coordinator, Sisters@8 and Special Projects
Anthnette Drone currently serves as the Coordinator for Sisters@Eight and BWW Special Events. She also supports the VREAM (Voting Rules Everything Around Me) Civic Engagement program.
In 2019 – 2023, she co-captained BWW’s Team “Boobalicious” for the Susan G. Komen’s More Than Pink Walk for Breast Health Awareness and currently assists with Keep In Touch, BWW’s Breast Health Awareness Project. She is also a
Fierce Auntie.
Anthnette first met Black Women for Wellness as an attendee to their Annual Reproductive Justice Conference. Impressed and in agreement with BWW’s vision and mission, she soon joined them as volunteer, member, and later as an employee. Anthnette has worked with BWW for over 9 years delivering health education, empowerment and wellness.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the School of Applied Arts and Sciences at California State University, Long Beach and a Paralegal Certificate from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law. She is a current member and student with OLLI (Osher LifeLong Learning Institute) at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
