Our Mamas Voices: Birthing in LA Focus Groups

Do you identify as Black or African American? Have you given birth in an LA County hospital since 2020? We want to hear your birth story.
We are hosting two Focus Groups to learn about your experience giving birth as a Black woman in LA County. All participants will receive $75.
There is also free parking and a childcare option available should you need it, however we recommend attending without your child(ren).
We are inviting you to share your unique birthing experience so we can identify where medical providers and hospitals are succeeding and where they are failing Black mothers and babies. With this information we hope to advocate for change and decrease the Black maternal mortality rate and improve birth outcomes for Black mothers and babies.
