Join the South Los Angeles/South Bay African American Infant and Maternal Mortality Community Action Team (SLASB AAIMM CAT) as we celebrate Black Maternal Health Week with our 2nd Annual Community Baby Shower & Resource Fair!
This year’s theme is “Our Bodies Belong to Us: Restoring Black Autonomy and Joy!”
Black Maternal Health Week (BMHW) is a week-long campaign founded and led by the Black Mamas Matter Alliance to build awareness, activism, and community-building to amplify the voices, perspectives and lived experiences of Black Mamas and birthing people.
